Privacy Policy

Last updated 9 October 2026

This policy explains what we collect when you visit this site or buy My Mother's Spice Box or one of its companion files, and what we do with it.

Who is responsible

This site is operated by the seller, BloxDevs Studios LLC, based in Wyoming, who answers privacy questions at support@ashasremedies.com.

What Whop collects, and what we get

The checkout is run by Whop, not by us. When you buy, Whop collects and processes your purchase and payment data as the controller for that transaction, under its own privacy policy. That includes your payment method and whatever billing details the transaction requires.

From that transaction, we receive your email address. That is what we use to send you the download link and, later, revised editions of the book. Depending on what Whop passes through, we may also see the fact and date of your order and the product bought. Buying is not the only way we come to hold an address. The two forms described in the next section are the other way.

Your card details never reach us. They go to Whop and its payment partners. We do not receive them, we do not store them, and we could not retrieve them if you asked.

The two forms on this site, and the emails they start

There are two places on the home page where you can hand us an email address without paying anything. One is the box that appears if you look like you are about to leave, which offers you a free Remedy Card. The other is the Still deciding? section further down, where you can send a question. Both are optional and neither is part of buying anything.

What each one collects: your email address, which is the only field either form requires; your first name, if you type one into the question form, where it is marked optional; and the text of your question, if you write one, again optional. Each submission also records which of the two forms it came from, so we can tell a question apart from a card request.

What we collect. Whop runs the checkout and passes us your name, email address and what you bought; your card number never reaches us. How we use it. Only to deliver your books, answer your messages and process refunds, and we never sell it.

Cookies and analytics. The site may use basic cookies and simple analytics to keep checkout working and to see which pages are read. Questions about this go to our support address, support@ashasremedies.com.

The question form says we answer, and we do: a question sent through it is read and replied to by us, using the address you gave and nothing else. We do not use it for anything beyond the reply and the mail you signed up for.

Where it goes. When you submit either form your browser sends what you typed to our own server, a small Cloudflare Worker we run at Delete my data. Nothing else is sent with it: no cookie, no identifier, and no record of what you were reading. That server passes the address on to Kit (Kit.com, formerly ConvertKit), the email service provider that stores the list and sends the mail for us, acting as our processor under its own privacy policy at kit.com/privacy. Your browser never contacts Kit directly and this site holds no Kit credentials. We do not sell the list, rent it, or share it with anybody else.

Why we process it, and on what basis

  • Sending you the product. This is the contract you entered into when you bought the book. We cannot deliver it without an address to deliver it to.
  • Sending you revised editions. Free lifetime updates are part of what the book was sold as, so this is also the contract rather than marketing.
  • Answering a support or refund email. We use your address to reply to you.
  • Sending the free card, the newsletter and product information. This one is consent, given when you submit one of the two forms, and you can withdraw it with the unsubscribe link in any email we send.

We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not use it to build a profile of you.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address for as long as the book is supported, so that updates can reach you. Ask us to delete it and we will, and you will simply stop receiving new editions. If you came in through one of the two forms rather than through a purchase, unsubscribing stops the mail immediately and we remove the address from the list on request; a question you sent us is kept with it and goes when it goes. Whop keeps its own transaction records for as long as its policy and its tax obligations require; that part is not ours to delete.

What this site does on your device

Less than you would expect, but not nothing. Checked against the live build rather than assumed:

  • The Whop Pixel. This site runs the pixel belonging to Whop, the company that runs our checkout. It loads from t.whop.tw on every page. It records that a page was viewed (which page, when, and the ordinary request details that come with any web request, including your IP address and browser), and its purpose is to let a purchase made through Whop be connected back to the visit that led to it, so that we can tell how many people who read this site went on to buy the book. Besides it, the site runs Microsoft Clarity (see below). There is no Google Analytics, no Tag Manager, no Meta, TikTok or LinkedIn pixel, no Hotjar, Segment, Mixpanel, Plausible, Fathom, Matomo or PostHog, and no Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon. What Whop does with what the pixel sends is governed by its own privacy policy, at whop.com/privacy. A browser extension that blocks third-party requests, or a “do not track” content blocker, stops it, and the site works exactly the same without it.
  • Microsoft Clarity. This site uses Microsoft Clarity to see how pages are read: clicks, scrolling and where people stop. Clarity may set its own cookies. What Microsoft does with this data is described at privacy.microsoft.com. A content blocker stops it, and the site works the same without it.
  • We set no cookies of our own, and there is no advertising and no advertising cookie on this site. Anything the Whop Pixel stores in your browser is theirs and is described in their policies, not ours.
  • Two small pieces of session storage, both written by our own code and both erased the moment you close the tab: one remembers where the promotional countdown had got to so a refresh does not restart it, the other records that the box that appears as you leave has already been shown, so it is not shown twice. Neither identifies you and neither leaves your browser.

The other third parties: Google Fonts, and the server behind the forms

Our capture server is contacted only when you actually submit one of the two forms described above: never on page load, and never if you leave both alone. Nothing of Kit's and nothing of Cloudflare's runs on this site: no script, no tracking pixel, no cookie and no embedded frame. What happens is a single request carrying what you typed, and if you never type anything your browser never speaks to it. Kit itself your browser never contacts at all. That hop happens server to server, out of your sight and out of your browser.

The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, at fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. With Whop and our own capture server, that is the whole list of outside services this page contacts. Because your browser has to ask Google for the font files, your IP address and your browser details reach Google when the page loads. Google describes what it does with that in its own privacy policy. No cookie is set by it, and it happens whether or not you buy anything. If you would rather it did not happen, a browser extension that blocks third-party requests will stop it, and the site stays readable in your system fonts.

Children

This is a book for adult travelers. The site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes to this policy

If what we do changes, if further analytics is ever added, for instance, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves.
